Yay, Tagaytay! Finally, after how many months, I got to go out of town again even though it was just nearby. I missed Tagaytay, to be honest. The breeze, the coffee, the chill, slow days. But I just had one night so I made the most out of it (kinda but it’s still bitin!). We attended a wedding ceremony until dinner so we thought staying overnight was better than driving back to Manila late at night. It was really good to find a nice and cozy accommodation for a night stay plus I enjoyed their free breakfast. Thank you, Aozora at the Farm! Ah, writing about this makes me want to go back and take a vacay (or work remotely, whatever) again, but…
Please do not travel unless it's already 100% safe! All travel articles and restaurant reviews in this blog are here to inspire you on your future plans, but please DO NOT LEAVE HOME UNTIL IT'S TOTALLY SAFE! We all are excited to go out and have fun, but let's keep "safety" our number one priority. Stay healthy!
Hey there! My name’s May and you can view more about me here. I travel a lot for both work and leisure. Thanks to being an auditor and a content creator and, of course, to my love for travel, I barely feel I’m actually at work when traveling. And if I’m actually off work, I usually am with friends or family, discovering places and trying out new food. I’m juggling three jobs – the two mentioned + being a single mom. You think it’s easy? Of course not! But what glues me together is my passion and love for these three. More about my story here.
I love sharing what I know and how I do things, so if you haven’t read these yet, visit the following pages to view:
We found Aozora at the Farm Japanese Restaurant in Airbnb (I have a discount link below, btw~) which got us very interested for its homey vibe plus they’re affordable considering the amenities and free breakfast. I could imagine myself chilling on the veranda, reading my book, and enjoying a cup (or two) of coffee, and indeed it realized!
It felt as if I was back in the province even for just a few hours in the morning – nice morning breeze, the green views, the fresh air. Oh, I love working remotely. If only I could bring my kid and the fam. Maybe I would when everything gets better. And yes Aozora had great wifi and internet connection, so I was able to jump on my office tasks and catch up from a day’s leave.

Offered with good amenities and facilities, you can never go wrong with Aozora. The rooms are bigger than we expected, airconditioning was great I had a nice sleep, you have your own dining area on the front porch which is my fave part of the stay. There are even books for you to read if you don’t have your own. There’s also a working refrigerator in case you have your baon. The food though was quite expensive, but the free meal they provided for guests’ breakfast was yummy so I bet the other dishes are tasty as well. We were not able to try more as we needed to hop on to the next place to visit but that’s one reason to go back, is it?

We stayed there not exhausting our check in and out time, but overall we enjoyed the place and really had enough rest thanks to the green and fresh ambiance Aozora offers. Plus really, I loved the book. Definitely going back. To take more pictures of the place, too, of course!
Have you been traveling already? I'd like to stay firm with my suggestion to stay home, but I also feel that craving for some outdoor adventure or a chill travel. Just be extra careful especially when you need to go over a crowd or interact with people. Share your staycation wishlist, and maybe we can visit there as well!
