Coming out

I’m pregnant! Hey. I know I promised to “try” to post here everyday, but well, sorry to myself. I was too busy for Toyo, plus I already came out to everyone so my schedule was suddenly booked ’til Feb for my friends to see the baby bump.

I knew it since the first two months – my usual visitor was absent, I sometimes feel dizzy but fine, I feel a bit lazier than usual, etc. Though some of the symptoms was actually normal to me, I thought of it already.

My tummy a week or two ago.

Aside from my bf, my sisters knew it first, but it was just after NYE when I talked to my parents about it. Gladly, my mom was excited about it and it really relieved the worries I felt before. Plus, everyone knew it yesterday after my announcement on Facebook and everyone was happy and excited. Idk. Sorry, but I cannot put into words how I really feel right now. <3

One morning, I woke up totally heartbroken. “Here I am again, fasting.” Knowing you’re not supposed to eat for hours was one of my pet peeves. But after I had my last meal before my lab exams, I remembered this was not for PE, or for whatever they call it. This was for me and the little one. So tiis muna, wag kang magtakaw. You actually don’t need to fast before the ultrasound, but I had my lab test kase before that.

Funny thing is, I got the appointment to everything in one day and finished everything the day after. Sobrang bilis, nakakapanibago. I’ll definitely make sulit the privilege being a priority. Well, thanks, Toyo.

I honestly am not a lover of babies. If you are a close friend of mine, alam nyong sobrang ayoko sa bata. Inaapi ko sila. Imagine, si May, magkaka-baby na?! Ha! Karma! Lol. But hearing your own baby’s heartbeat really can change things. I love babies now – baby cats. And I love my little one, too. Unfortunately, it’s not a kitten.

I don’t think you all need or are interested to know/hear/see/read the good news, but I am just so proud of how linaw the results of the ultrasound are kahit na sobrang likot nya. So here you go:

One of my fave shots so far. Ke tangos ng ilong!

Couldn’t see the front view of the face yet, and also the gender. But it is fun knowing all the people’s guesses and bets. So far, most of them think it’s a girl. But whatever, we call it “Toyo”.

When I was maybe in my first months, I really love eating everything with toyo (soy sauce) or Knorr seasoning or Kikoman. This is why I spent too much for shrimps because of the sawsawan and tokwa’t baboy during the holidays. And instead of prepping the most loved pancake from our Christmas basket, I loved prepping fried rice with toyo more.

Plus, yep, I was super moody.

I was writing this during office hours, so I really needed it to be quick. Will update again about Toyo this week. Ciao!
