Sumptuous Dining at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

The highly-instagrammable hotel boasts a collection of heritage and historic buildings from old houses and establishments. Showcasing our rich history, culture, and architecture, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar made it to the most-photographed hotels in the Philippines, as we all are aware. I mean, who doesn’t want to take some pictures and experience being in the old times?

On my recent trip with What To Eat Ph, I’ve tried three of their dining options: Cusina ni Nanay Maria, La Bella Teodora, and Cafe Marivent. But before going there, I’d like to put a disclaimer here that I am not matakaw at all, I just love eating and I love Las Casas’ food, and yes, I am not matakaw. Lol

Cusina NI Nanay Maria

One thing I loved about Cusina ni Nanay Maria is the feels of as if you’re just at home, waiting for your mom’s cooking. (Not that I don’t help her, lol, but you get my point.) Despite their expensive-looking location, Cusina gives you an ambience of peace and comfortability especially with their food.

What makes it more interesting is that their sous chef is not even a Pinoy, but he holds the Pinoy flavours so dearly you won’t taste any foreign flavor on any of his Pinoy dishes.

La Bella Teodora

La Bella Teodora is a spacious restaurant which can accommodate different groups, big or small. And to complement Cusina Ni Nanay Maria, La Bella Teodora offers Italian food, that are also part of our food favorites – pasta, and of course, pizza!

Aside from wonderful meal for dinner, they also have performers to entertain the guests. We feel very fortunate to have witnessed this girl’s wonderful voice, that actually made me want to cry. (Huhu so much feels. :() She sang Ikaw, Close To You, more songs that would be great for my dream wedding (huh, do I really want to marry?)

Cafe Marivent

Cafe Marivent is located in Casa Unisan, originally owned by Antonio Maximo of Unisan, Quezon. Again, like the others, this restaurant actually looks naturally homey. On that day, we had a separate area exclusively reserved for influencers for us to have the shoot, and get to know each other better (which is actually nice, but we got there late, so we didn’t have much time to chat with he others haha).

Our over-all dining experience in Las Casas was indeed great, made me realize that Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is not just a backdrop for your Instagram pictures, and bot just about historical buildings. The food there were in a different level of delicious, and will surely make everyone consider spending enough for more than enough food quality.

Now, you’re wondering, are there kakainin as well? Of course, Pinoy food is nothing without rice delicacies! You can also enjoy some, perfect for coffee pairing on a wonderful morning.
