GUEST POSTING GUIDELINES

CONTENT

The Mhayonnaise is about travel and food and basically everything that relates to it. Thus, the content of guest posts must relate to some aspect of your experiences those areas. Here are the topics I am currently looking for:

  • Travel stories and guides
  • Food and restaurant reviews and recommendations

While these are the main subjects I am seeking, I may be open to other ideas as well. It never hurts to shoot me a message to see if your article fits our page.

GUIDELINES

  • Your article must be originally created by yourself, including photos and images.
  • Posts should be more than 500 words in length.
  • Articles submitted may be published to, to be published in, or cross-posted from your own personal blog. However, inform me so we can update the credential links as necessary.
  • Full credentials will be posted along your article.
  • Please provide a brief bio to be included with the guest post. Your bio can be 3-4 lines and may include up to three links to where readers may find you.
  • To avoid legal conflicts, please DO NOT submit articles that brands hired you to write, unless you are clear on the intellectual property rights.
  • You accept the responsibility to help promote the post through social media and your blog.

EDITING

There may be slight editing of your guest post to correct grammar, spelling, and other corrections. You will be informed if major changes are needed, so we can get your permission before publishing.

I may also be adding comments and notes to the blog post, on a separate block “Editor’s Note”. It may be for clarification purposes, additional information, link to a related article, or to call some important piece of information out.

All articles submitted will be adjusted to this blog’s post layout.

SUBMISSION

Submit your articles to connect@themhayonnaise.com with email subject “Guest Post: (article title)” or fill-in the following form:

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

MORE EXPOSURE TO TARGETED TRAFFIC THROUGH FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM ADS

Traffic is the top goal every content creator has. With The Mhayonnaise, you can reach more than your usual through shared audiences among all contributors and Facebook and IG ads targets. If you write a top-quality article, marketing our brand and yours will be as easy as 1, 2, 3.

EXPAND YOUR PERSONAL NETWORK

I am currently working with friends on building a separate website that aims to deliver quality posts to our readers and visitors. We also are looking forward to establish one of (if not the most) trendiest online community by making blogging “more fun”.

STIMULATE AND GROW YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENTS

Since you are helping me out on the contents in my blog, promotion is also my responsibility. Though I cannot give you official contributor access yet, rest assured all your blog and social media pages are included in the credits of all published posts and articles.

SHARPEN YOUR CONTENT CREATION SKILLS

No one is perfect in writing or creating great stuff. How do we help each other? Though peer-reviews. Grammarly and similar apps sure help, but peer reviews can make the article less formal and more reader-friendly. Write and blog about topics that really interest you and have a genuine readership.

IMPROVE YOUR ONLINE AUTHORITY AND CREDIBILITY

Online authority isn’t a skill you can develop nor credential you can award to yourself. Trust and authority are earned by creating quality posts recognized by search engines and visitors including your readers, clients, and network. Working side by side with your co-bloggers is a solid testament that we are working in a healthy and supportive industry, and we’re having fun doing it!

WHY I’M LOOKING FOR GUEST POSTS?
━━━━━━

TO BE HONEST – I am super busy at work and being a mom and bff to Mnemo, BUT I love maintaining this blog. Which leaves me no choice but to schedule my posts in advance. I also am broadening my network to support my travel blogging, which also requires me to create close connections to travel and food bloggers in case my contacts need more writers for their marketing projects. Another reason is, while my blog has a good readership, my FB page is still new and I need something to post there as well. To support the growth of my FB page and to help advertise your article, I will be boosting/promoting all guest blogs submitted and approved, including your soc med links, on my own expense.

Need to further discuss the partnership? Email me at connect@themhayonnaise.com.

And yes, I also am willing to submit guest posts to open blog sites! <3
