How to be happy

Just some more notes from myself to the people who find it hard to be a little bit more happy:

Do not overdo things or stress about one thing. Yea, I know. Stressing about one little (or big) thing is in our nature already, but at least try not to overdo it that you cannot drive your mood anymore. Mood swings sucks. And it can affect not only you but the people you love.

One thing that can help you do this is avoiding thinking negative thoughts and avoiding negative people. I was in my early 20s when I learned to filter the people around me. Dumping fake friends is not an easy task, but if you’re focused on self-care, it’s really easy peasy. Just think they’re not true friends and voila! Though filtering and choosing among them is the hardest. Some act like they do really care, but nawp, they just need you to make themselves feel superior. They will discourage you, won’t support you, won’t even listen to you, because they always think they’re right. And if you’re gullible enough, well, sorry nalang. One day, you’ll realize you’re following them already – not yourself, not what is right.

Another thing that I enjoy the most are chocolates and music, why not? Some of us are not lovers of both, but these two are definitely parts of our lives already. Hindi hilig, pero gusto. KitKat, Rebisco Choco Sandwhich, and Milo are the simplest things that can make me really good. Samahan mo pa ng premium subscription ng Spotify (di ako nag eendorse). Here is my newest list of fave songs, and I think Toyo the baby likes them, too. (click image below to redirect) I started collecting these songs last week and I try to update them every other day, for a fresh set of sounds for me and Toyo. Follow me na din. Lol.

Well aside from loving music, I hope Toyo gets my all my hiligs. I will introduce to Toyo the joy in traveling and exploring, and this cozy blanket while reading a book or just writing its own novel. Aside from blogging, I also maintain a personal daily journal. The only difference is you write aaaaallll personal secrets you don’t want to share to anyone, and you publish anything you think you need to share to anyone. I can’t explain the difference of how these two make me feel, but whatever. It really helps, somehow. Especially when people start commenting or emailing you for a good talk or discussions on certain topic. This is one of my ways to socialize and to unwind from the really annoying world of social media. Lels.

I deleted my social media apps just around a week ago (can’t even count the days anymore, but except IG). Though I still get the urge to check it on the browser, at least my access is now a little more limited. Spending soooo much time scrolling didn’t actually help me. I mentioned I am suffering depression and I am trying really hard to overcome it. And Facebook only makes it worse. I don’t know about you, but I think limiting yourself from it is not a bad thing, but more of a good thing to anyone.

And finally, talking to babies really is the cure. I’ve been asking this before (until now) – what magic there is with these babies that adults find them really cute? Toyo the baby is not out yet, but feeling it inside my belly and seeing it move around make me a little more happy. Sobrang cute nakakagigil. I really am excited to see my mini me, that I started planning it’s parties. It’s fun, actually, to collect creative ideas and tweak them all based on your taste. Aaaaaah! Who thought my blog would be less travels and more about being a mom??
