Coffee and chill at Cafe Roma in Goshen Resort, Tarlac
Before the ECQ, we traveled all the way to Tarlac for a weekend just to get some fresh air and take a short break from the city noise. We roamed around Tarlac, enjoyed this super romantic Cafe Roma in Goshen Resort, and stayed in a very nice hotel in Angeles before going back home the next day. Tarlac was not really one of the most-listed go-to places for Pinoy travel enthusiasts. Until people saw these beautiful flower farm and Rome pictures on Facebook and Instagram, they started to notice how wonderful this province truly is. The view from the cafe indeed made us feel like we’re outside the Philippines! We went…

Purple Beetle reopens for pick-up, delivery, and dine-in
People from Manila have tons of reasons why they love Tagaytay as a weekend go-to place. And one of those is the Instagrammable views and vibes of the place, not to mention the restaurants from around Tagaytay that we love to try more than once. Like for example this cute cafe at Twin Lakes Shopping Village – Purple Beetle. The first time I got to experience the place and the food was with my What To Eat fam during our roadtrip and food crawl in Tagaytay. We also got to stay at the Twin Lakes Hotel and it was aaawwweeessssoommmee! If you want a quick trip during the rainy days to…

The things I miss from La Creperie!
The last time I’ve been to Tagaytay was a month before the ECQ in Manila started. What I like most about Tagaytay are these unique restaurants that offer not only good food but great nature views. That’s why Tagaytay is my go-to place whenever I need a break. Thanks to the cold weather and super yummy hot chocolate from everywhere. So when we were on lockdown, I really missed La Creperie – one of my most loved cafes in Tagaytay. Just a week ago, I learned they have new branches in Manila and that really excite me! I knew they are in other places aside Tagaytay, but I just really…

#LockdownDiaries: food orders and recipes wrap-up | 2
My previous wrap-up post got so many views so it’s just safe to assume my readers are interested on where I get the food I post on social media. So yey! Here’s my second wrap up of our food during quarantine. But before we move on (yep, had to say this again), please note that this article and other related posts linked on this page were not paid in any way nor sponsored by the brands I am mentioning. And, guys, if you’re able, please do support your friends and neighbors and other small businesses by buying their products, or just sharing their links to others who might be interested.…

#LockdownDiaries: food orders and recipes wrap-up
I get a lot of queries how much do I sell the food I was posting during quarantine and if I do deliveries. Sorry to disappoint, guys, but I’m not selling. I’m just another food blogger and a hungry customer. The least I can do is share where I got them from. Some of those were just cooked by myself, but again, not selling. Later on this page, I will also share the links to my recipes and some external ones I found in the internet. Before we move on, please note that this article and other related posts linked on this page were not paid in any way nor…
