Looking for something to spoil yourself with? Glazed by Mariella definitely won't make you feel guilty

With all I have been going though as a new mom, I take all the help I can get from family and friends just to forget everything that stresses me. Plus, as a working mom, I sometimes need to de-stress and spoil myself a little bit. So thanks to my friend Joy for providing me unlimited books (I need you forever, my friend), thanks Netflix for your new originals and new purchased films and series, thanks Mnemosyne for smiling at me everytime I kiss you, thanks besh Jian for the coffee, and thanks Mariella for the sweetest and yummiest treats everrr!

I knew Mariella through my friend and manager, when we ordered a cake for my previous manager’s B on Voyage Lunch. I learned the baker accepts customized and personalized cake and cupcake designs so I thought “kukunin ko to kapag kailangan ko ng cakes kahit gaano pa sila kamahal!” I really loved the lemon cupcake that I asked Mariella to cater for my baby shower and finally met her personally when they delivered our mini cakes for Mnemo’s Christening.

Of course, I needed to consider the price. I honestly thought they were pricey at first but when I looked for other cupcakes, Mariella’s were a looooot cheaper at sobrang sarap pa. And if you are into organic goodies, cakes by Mariella are here to spoil you. No more guilty feelings!

Mariella’s initial business name was Cakey (ka-kei) and was eventually changed to something more refined and connected to what she has to offer. Glazed by Mariella is a perfect fit, though. And yes, they offer their sweet treats using high-quality organic eggs which made their products healthier and more affordable.

Their set-up is home based and for deliveries only. Folks who live in Cavite or Alabang are welcome to pick-up their orders from their place. Though honestly speaking all of their clients opt for the hassle-free delivery, a service that not many bakers offer.

Everything is freshly baked by order. However, they require that clients order at least 2 days in advance for classic pastries, and 1 week prior for themed cakes and cupcakes.
