Weekend chill at Batis ng Kalikasan, Sta. Maria, Laguna
Finally, an overnight trip since the start of pandemic and community quarantine! Okay, I’m not proud. I was not even thinking of sharing this because it’s easier to lay low on social media and the internet than explain how much careful you were on your trip. But I gotta update the blog, hoomans, so I am grateful for the safe weekend getaway we had. But seriously, do not travel yet if it’s not essential. Travel bans are slowly lifted, but it doesn’t mean we actually have to go outside. Anyway, I’ve also tried editing some video clips I’ve taken during the trip (yeah, I wasn’t thinking of sharing this online…

Weekend trip to Tarlac (itinerary + travel guide)
The province of Tarlac does not really make the same noise as the top touristy provinces in the Philippines. So why Tarlac? What people don’t realize is this place is such a gem to anyone who loves traveling. No matter what you love doing, they got it here. Tarlac boasts its ecotourism which is very evident in every spot you could go to. Among all the Philippine provinces you have in your bucket list, Tarlac is probably one with unexpected beauty, and hopefully, this article would inspire you to visit Tarlac as well (if you’ve not been there yet). <3 New here? Read this! Hey there! My name’s May and…

I know you deserve this, so here are 7 royal ways to reward yourself, King and Queen of Twin Lakes!
Full week of non-stop work, huh? Bet ‘ya yearning for a nice and comfy and restful weekend. Yep, I feel you. And I also feel you don’t want to go far from the city else you may not want to come back anymore. Haha! Same here~ Well, I know a perfect place somewhere in Tagaytay. Hello, Twin Lakes Hotel! Tagaytay has been the go-to “bakasyunan” of the people in Manila for decades now, and no matter how heavy the traffic is there, we just don’t care. All people want is to stay away from the giant buildings for once and escape the heat and not-so-fresh air we’re experiencing the whole…

My most favorite thing in Isdaan Floating Restaurant
If you’re a Pinoy foodie and/or a traveler, I bet you already had a nice dining experience at or at least familiar with one of the Isdaan Floating restaurants across Luzon. Among those branches, my most recent visit was in Gerona, Tarlac. It just so happened that I was around the area so why not dine in one of the most IG-worthy restaurants in the Philippines? Any of the Isdaan branches boasts not only their Thailand-inspired theme which is perfect for people who loves taking pictures, I also looooove their food. Being honest, service is a bit slow (common among all branches), once you get your food orders you’ll totally…

Family breakfast at Charito by Bag of Beans
It’s so nice to have a family who supports me at what I love doing – my job, being a mom, a traveler, a foodie, a blogger. I really am thankful that everytime I say “I wanna do this,” they’re there holding me up like my number one fan. As much as I could, I want them to also experience and see why I love the outdoors. This time, I brought them to my fave nearest vacay spot – Tagaytay. Tagaytay is the city people’s favorite weekend spot not only because it’s cooler there than here in Manila, it is a home to good food as well. And one of…
