Week 35: Almost there! + my first NVS recognition
My mom and dad are currently on a vacation, attending the local fest at the province. So yep, I and my siblings are making each day alone, with house chores 24/7. It’s a good thing, though. This is the first time for the longest time they went out of town by themselves, and it’s also our chance to better ourselves on house works.
I know they’re enjoying themselves, especially my mom who just had her first flight ever. But my belly’s about to pop, and I just am positively wishing Mneme and I can hold it in until May. So far, thank God, I have no scary contractions yet.
Anyway, I’m now on my 35th (and 1 day) of pregnancy, and I have sooooo much to share about life lately.
Belly update
My belly’s stretching a lot (almost every day) making me realize how much I shall be working out after Mneme. I will have to work on my stretch marks as well because, oh, I want to look like my age even I’m already a mom!
So far, so good. I’m glad I made it to the office last week, despite all the kapoy feels. I really hope this news won’t reach my OB, but I did it! (Don’t worry, hindi ako pinagbawalan masyado, but I was told don’t stress and tire myself.) Work wasn’t that tiring and stressful (especially when you’re recognized for jobs well done!), but the commute life was. As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been to a looooot just getting to and for work (which is my every day pregnant or not). One of those things na masasabi mo nalnag na “hayaan na, ganun talaga eh.”
Well, aside from those ” struggles”, I had no problems so far. They say the 7th and 8th month are the scariest and the most delicate, so if you’re pregnant or soon to be, remember I am not always a good role model.
I will be having an ultrasound and another check up this week. Meaning more updates and tips!
First Novartis recognition
Last, last week was actually worse. I was starting to feel my belly (and my whole body) getting heavier and heavier, I couldn’t go to the office. I couldn’t even go outside to buy myself some sweet treats. They say it’s normal, especially I am in a body of a slim, beautiful girl (charot), but I had a hard time adjusting.
But God is indeed good. He gave me another inspiration to continue doing well in pregnancy and work because I got my first (and hopefully not the last) recognition from Novartis! This reminded me how fortunate I am with working with great companies and good people. Kung wala sila, maybe I’ll be looking at myself blankly. Thank you soooo much for giving me a chance to work with these organizations who never get tired of recognizing their people.
I know, this is just for a quarter year of work, but what makes me proud of myself is that I got this award when I was only new in the family. I just got regularized last December and the PEC leaders already recognized me. Isn’t that awesome? Novartis is indeed a #GreatPlaceToWork. They’re not just squeezing the work out of you, they’re also inspiring you to do better.
And yes, I got recognized in MJN, too, for my previous role. So yes, millennials, just do your best, work hard, and enjoy your jobs. Wag puro reklamo.
Well, that would be all for today’s update. I was supposed to be sharing some online stuff, but my swollen hands are already tired of typing, so excuse me~
