11-peso washi? Yes please!

Hello, loves! I’m in a good mood today because of these cuties! Were did I got them? Since I am stuck at home, I go shopping online. (I miss the malls, huhu) And one day I received a notification from a one-day P11-sale on Shopee. Yes, selected items were on sale for a day and you can buy each for only ELEVEN PESOS. That’s basically .22 USD!

My advice: sign in to Shopee, download the app (available in android, ios), turn on notifications, and be one of the first shoppers to know about their promos. I noticed they are hosting promos more frequently these days, so what are you waiting for?

I love using washis to design and style my personal journals, and planners, but I never bought more than 5 sets in one-time shopping because I knew they’re really pricey and I don’t even need them anyways. I mean, I can print cute things from the internet and use cheap glue for my notebooks, but not spend 50-100 pesos for just one set of washi. I didn’t even mind to collect some. But now that I have around 30 sets, I think my interest in collecting more is growing.

So just to share, I am not a brand-conscious hoarder. I buy quality things for the most affordable and reasonable price. Kung meron naman akong pambili, why not? Kung wala, e di bale nalang. Kung meron na kaunti, sige hanap tayo ng abot kaya.

Again, washis are not one of my “needs”. I just enjoy buying cute items in very cheap price. I bought my first and second batched of washis from The Landmark in Makati (yep that cute space for all cute items on the ground floor), and this batch was from Shopee. So yes, for those who are asking if Shopee is legit, it is!

But still, always be very careful and skeptical on buying items online no matter how legit the site or the seller is. Mahirap na!

Share your collections of washi tapes, too! And if you know some nice arts and crafts stores around Manila (or online), please share them, as well!

Happy journaling! <3
