Punta Riviera Resort: one place you shouldn’t miss in Bolinao
It’s no news that Philippines has thousands of beautiful, tropical islands that local and tourists alike find really enchanted. Beyond all the beaches and resorts and natural beauty the country has to offer, another part of the culture we Filipinos are always proud of is our Pinoy food. And if there’s one local cuisine you should not miss, it is the cooking in Pangasinan. I recently had the chance to roam around one of Pangasinan’s towns, Bolinao, and from the moment that I stepped off my shuttle, I knew that I was going to love the place! Why? Because I knew we were staying in one of the famous villas in…

Family Valentine Dinner at Neil’s Kitchen, Glorietta
I’ve read sooo many good reviews about this restaurant in Alabang. Good food, good ambiance, perfect for all kinds of dinner dates with our loved ones. However, it’s too far from our place (probably will cost me 700php+ per Grab trip) so I wasn’t able to visit the restaurant with my family. So I was super excited when I learned they’re opening a branch in Glorietta, Makati, where I and my family usually go when we’re bored at home. I mean yey andito na yung sinasabi nilang masarap! Plus my sister really loved the food there and in fact suggested it for our next family food trip. Sitting just beside…

My most favorite thing in Isdaan Floating Restaurant
If you’re a Pinoy foodie and/or a traveler, I bet you already had a nice dining experience at or at least familiar with one of the Isdaan Floating restaurants across Luzon. Among those branches, my most recent visit was in Gerona, Tarlac. It just so happened that I was around the area so why not dine in one of the most IG-worthy restaurants in the Philippines? Any of the Isdaan branches boasts not only their Thailand-inspired theme which is perfect for people who loves taking pictures, I also looooove their food. Being honest, service is a bit slow (common among all branches), once you get your food orders you’ll totally…

Romantic Baboy: the cheesiest korean grill experience
I seriously hate waiting in looong lines most especially when I’m hungry. But it’s a worthy sacrifice if I want to reward myself with heavy and delicious dinner. Plus, it’s just common here in the Philippines, as most of the people are fans of “unlimited” meals – so very long lines in places that offer unli meat or even unli rice is not new. My friends and I are planning our summer trip for this year, and our first meeting was really productive. Productive meaning we completed at least one day of our four-day itinerary. All thanks to a tasty and fun dining experience at Romantic Baboy. 8 types and…

Enjoy affordable Japanese eats at Kaito Japanese Carinderia in Makati
I looooove Japanese cuisine, though I haven’t been to Japan yet (omg, I just realized I have to go there soon). But I know I’m having an authentic Japanese dish when Japanese friends invite me to a Japanese restaurant. I’m not sure about you, but I noticed Japanese people are a bit picky on what they eat and are very sensitive on different spices we commonly use for our Pinoy meals. So I am really a fan of those who can pull off a full-menu fusion of not just dishes but flavors from different cuisines and cultural taste. Most of the good (and even best) Japanese restaurants in the Philippines…
