#throwback: 7 Best Things To Do In Ilocos
Yes, another #throwback from my old blog. Honestly, this particular tour happened waaay back 2014 and I just blogged something about it in 2016. Yeah, backlogs. Another province I would want to visit again soon – Ilocos. I know Ilocos is already mainstream but I have to share this because I really enjoyed our tour around North. Lemme just talk about my fave parts of it by giving you a list of my bests. New here? Read this! Hey there! My name’s May and you can view more about me here. I travel a lot for both work and leisure. Thanks to being an auditor and a content creator and, of course, to my…

#throwback: Third-wheeling at the Pahiyas Festival with besties
Since we are staying home for long (quite longer than we expected, tbh), I though going back to my travel memory lane is the least I could do as a “sabik sa travel” person. I went through my tumblr page and realized I have travel posts there that I wasn’t able to share here in my not-so-new-now blog. Maybe it’s not too bad if I just share them now even after yeeeaaaars ago. First travel post I forgot to move here is our trip to Quezon for the Pahiyas Festival. Actually, no. The plan was to go for a weekend trip to Kwebang Lampas, but we knew we won’t enjoy…

Remote work at Coreon Gate, Makati
I feel very much grateful for having the opportunity to work remotely in the middle of the pandemic. While the company I am working with also struggled (and still is struggling), I appreciate their extended support to their people and patients to continue the fight against the challenge we are facing. Since our sales force are doubling up the hard work, us support teams, also feel the pressure and instead of the WFH set-up helping us to feel more homey, it also adds stress like 10x the usual. No kidding! I am a single mom, and I am a compliance officer/auditor by profession. I do side jobs (which hardly pay,…

Favorite things to do in Makati City
I live in Pasay (at least as of the day I drafted this article), one of the biggest cities in Metro Manila. This pandemic is too much of a hassle for everyone, and we have been coping with it individually in many different ways. I am a travel person, and it’s difficult for me not to go for at least one short trip a month. So when things got a little bit better, I try to sneak out from home for whatever reason and go to the nearest and I feel the safest place I could go to. One of them is the nearby city of Makati, and to share…

Weekend chill at Batis ng Kalikasan, Sta. Maria, Laguna
Finally, an overnight trip since the start of pandemic and community quarantine! Okay, I’m not proud. I was not even thinking of sharing this because it’s easier to lay low on social media and the internet than explain how much careful you were on your trip. But I gotta update the blog, hoomans, so I am grateful for the safe weekend getaway we had. But seriously, do not travel yet if it’s not essential. Travel bans are slowly lifted, but it doesn’t mean we actually have to go outside. Anyway, I’ve also tried editing some video clips I’ve taken during the trip (yeah, I wasn’t thinking of sharing this online…
