#throwback: 7 Best Things To Do In Ilocos

Yes, another #throwback from my old blog. Honestly, this particular tour happened waaay back 2014 and I just blogged something about it in 2016. Yeah, backlogs. Another province I would want to visit again soon – Ilocos.

I know Ilocos is already mainstream but I have to share this because I really enjoyed our tour around North. Lemme just talk about my fave parts of it by giving you a list of my bests.

1. Photowalk at Calle Crisologo

I mean, of course! To make the most out of your tour, especially when it’s your first time here (nah, even for your 23rd time, really) it’s almost mandatory to take at least one good picture along Calle Crisologo. This street is one of the most famous stops when people visit North. In our case, it’s always the first and last stop. Heh. Not only it gives the classic Pinoy vibes, it also is full of “pasalubong” options from keychains, wooden sculptures, shirts, and the only thing you shouldn’t miss – the Vigan Longganisa. (Spoiler alert: Yeah, that’s my number 7, but whatevs. I’m gonna say longganisa as many times as needed.)

2. Hang out with the best guys at the Baluarte

This zoo/park is super cool as you can literally hang out with the cool animals around. You can touch them (except for the hungry lion and tiger), talk to them (of course they talk back), and have selfies with them up close! I love Baluarte for not caging the animals 100%.

3. Have a joyride and skate at the Paoay Sand Dunes.

The best ride in my life so far. I am speechless I’m just gonna leave the picture here.

4. Hug one of the Bangui Windmills

So one windmill is super huge, see that, bt they are indeed huggable if you would want to hug them. Excuse my face there, as we had that shot literally across the sunset it hurt.

5. Enjoy the sunset at Pagudpud.

Any place could offer you a view of the sunset, but no two sunsets are the same. One of the best place to watch the tail of the sun is at the beach, with your loved ones, and coffee, and a good seat.
