Yes! I finally found my mommy hashtag! See, this is one of the reasons why I love myself. I’m crazy. I’ve been using my online alias for almost nine years already. Thanks to the Tumblr people who made me come up to such username. Now I’m so attached to it I cannot think of something better. It’s like I’m already married to this name. Whatever. Anyway, hello, readers! How’s life? I still have less than a month before I go back to work. And aside from being a mom and recovering from CS and procrastinating about other things I planned to do while on leave, I’ve also done a lot of thinking…

    Newest and last

It’s been months, I think, since I last had a dream… or remembered my dream. According to Psychology, dreams are natural and everyone are having dreams everytime they sleep. The only difference among us is how many of those dreams each of us recall upon awakening. I am one of those people who often remember her dreams. It’s almost everyday that I have new story about what happened in those dreams. And usually, I am in a familiar place, with familiar people. The best dream so far Last night, I finally got my mind back to work. Up to this minute, I can still recall every detail of my dream.…

Journal throwback + Tips on personal journaling

Hello, readers! Last time, I mentioned we are on an ongoing project at home – de-cluttering and redesigning our room – to make space for Toyo. And guess where we are now…..uhm yeah still there. (Lol) During the past holidays, I had time to re-scan my old journals I found during the clean-up. Why the hell I write on journals??? There are things that are too personal to share, but nothing for my daily journals. I write everything in them. They’re like an “idea dump” notebook, except those are not just ideas, but are my actual and most honest thoughts, feelings, and personal stories.   It’s really just cute and touching (and funny,…

This is what I hate about commuting

Every morning, I have to wake up at 4, prepare for work in at least one hour, and go out to commute at around 5. It seems normal, though. Since I don’t have my own car yet, I have to adjust my time because heavy traffic isn’t the only problem of commuters, but the volume of other chance passengers and the number of available jeepneys, buses, or train seats there are. If you’re thinking I have the privilege to skip lines, uhm yes I have. But the struggle is still “real”. Summer heat is too much to handle, especially when you’re pregnant, even with the help of sunscreen and umbrella…

Saying hello to a new chapter + the baby’s name! #MnemeOnTheWay

I was truly blessed to have a baby shower for Toyo! We were a little unprepared (because we honestly gave more time and effort on the decors and food, but not the program, lol) but at least we managed to gather everyone not just for a simple snack or late lunch and “kwentuhan“, but we also put a little fun for my friends to enjoy. I never knew it would be so much fun celebrating it with friends and family. This was actually the first time I (and my family) organized a party for a large group (40+ attendees. Sorry hindi tayo kompleto sa groupfie!), so bear with us. Haha!…
