Commune Hall: a nice go-to food hall in South

Going somewhere fun in South, but more concerned about getting great food before the roadtrip? The very problem of every foodie! Think one of the best spot for chillin’ and try new foods you can take pictures of and share on social media. Yep. One of them is the Commune Hall. So you better put together your all your lists of photo captions for your Instagram food posts before you even go! Commune Hall, perfectly located at the third floor, right next to the cinemas, offers a wide variety of food choices in partnership with 12 food stores  – from Japanese or Korean meals, mouth-watering steaks and burgers, and even unique drink mixes or humble…

    Granny’s Kitchen: Chicken Curry Recipe

Today’s interview with my mom was kinda funny because my dad and my sis was also there and they have different ways of cooking Chicken Curry and they have a loooooot to say and argue about. I had to Google it as well but to no use because people apparently cook food in many different ways. And when you ask my mom how did you do this or what’s next, shell just say “bahala na sila kung anong una.” Ha! Indeed a crazy rich Asian. By the way, this one’s our dinner last night and I really love it especially the potatoes. I love chicken, but I love potatoes more…

    Slammin’ Burger and Fries

I am a burger fan since I first knew what a “burger” is. I honestly declare myself as the Jughead of my own Archie world, and the Dean of my own Supernatural world. I literally can survive a week eating just burgers, but of course I won’t try. Slammin’ was actually named Slammers before they rebranded on 2013. They leveled-up the menu, added more flavors of burgers, the plating, and overall appearance was improved. I didn’t get to try their old recipe, but I bet today’s burgers are worth the upgrade. One of the burgers I just recently had is the Hawaiian Slider from Slammin’. A 100% beef patty sandwiched…

Give in to your Seafood Cravings at Pier at Clawdaddy’s

Clawdaddy’s is widely-known with their generous servings of crabs, ribs, and other flavorful dishes. That sinfully saucy taste of each bite partnered with rice or mashed potato or even simply toasted bread. That stuff we consider as “guilty pleasures” that are totally worth the risk. Well you still gotta be careful, because no one wants to get blamed! Anyway, I’m not sure about you, but when it comes to these kinds of food, I prefer eating with bare hands. Well, if you’re as adventurous as we are, make yourself ready for the dirtiest hands! Clawdaddy’s has more to offer other than the famous dishes we all are craving for. Our…

Marugame Udon: my new go-to Japanese Resto

I know I’ve said this a million times, but again, being a working mom is really exhausting. On weekdays, I go to work at 6am to avoid the heavy traffic, and I log out at around 5pm plus another 1 hour and a half for walking from the office to the FX terminal and waiting for my turn to have a seat, plus another 2 hours travel time. So that’s around 14 hours before I arrive home. Of all the kapoy and hassle and take-home stress, I really need to sometimes take a break. Every time I pass through the Glorietta foodcourt, I notice this Japanese restaurant full of people. One…
