Miagao food trip at Balay Namm’ Seafood & Grill

One of the things that make me feel happier this year is that I am now able to travel ~again~ outside Manila after, what, two, three years. So when I and my work friends finally booked an out-of-Luzon trip, I was suuupppeeeer excited. And of course, the more food we try, the more we feel happy. Good thing the first meal we had in Iloilo was very, very good, it satisfied my tummy right away. So yep, if you visit Iloilo make sure to try Balay Namm’ Seafood and Grill in Miagao.

Balay Namm’ Seafood and Grill is a popular restaurant located in Miagao, known for its seafood and grilled dishes. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including fresh seafood like oysters, shrimps, and fish, as well as usual grilled or sizzling dishes such as the Pinoy favorite – sisig.

One of my dear friends is a Miagao local, and I feel the pride from the list of the beautiful, historical places to experience and the delicious food to enjoy. This wasn’t my first time in Iloilo, but it was my first time to try Balay Namm’.

Customers praise the restaurant for its delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. The ambiance of the place is also super appreciated, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. We dined just beside the beach area, and I don’t know why I didn’t take a nap after a huge meal. -.-

Must-haves:

  • Fresh and/or baked oyster
  • Pork sisig
  • Grilled squid
  • Pancit
