Sumptuous Dining at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
The highly-instagrammable hotel boasts a collection of heritage and historic buildings from old houses and establishments. Showcasing our rich history, culture, and architecture, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar made it to the most-photographed hotels in the Philippines, as we all are aware. I mean, who doesn’t want to take some pictures and experience being in the old times? On my recent trip with What To Eat Ph, I’ve tried three of their dining options: Cusina ni Nanay Maria, La Bella Teodora, and Cafe Marivent. But before going there, I’d like to put a disclaimer here that I am not matakaw at all, I just love eating and I love Las…

Lunch At Nono’s
Hmmmmkay. So Nono’s has been making noises since they expanded and built more branches. Many blogger friends have attended events in some of their branches and almost everyone is saying Nono’s food is indeed good. Did you know that Nono’s started it all off with a classic cake? One of her famous work is Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion, named after her father. Right now, Chef Baba Ibazeta Benedicto is focusing not only on desserts, but comfort food in general. And the one I’ve just visited was in Three Central, Salcedo, Makati, which is just a couple of kilometers from…

Rediscover Chinese Cuisine with Paradise Dynasty’s newest flavors!
I realized I am a “foodie” when I got to try different Chinese food around Binondo. I really wasn’t a fan of Chinese cuisine or any foreign ones at first, simply because I was not a food adventurer and I just used to stick to my Pinoy comfort food. So technically, my gates to “foodie kingdom” (if there’s such a term) were Chinese or Tsinoy eats. So I am really thankful when I got invited to try these new dishes from an authentic Chinese dining at Paradise Dynasty. The place really gave the vibes of Northern and Southern Chinese Cuisine. Not just because of their wonderful luxury restaurant ambience, but I also give two thumbs-up for…

We all know that one of the must-tries when visiting Cebu is Rico’s lechon. In fact, Rico’s is very famous, it already became a reason why we go to Cebu. But hey, there’s no need to fly out from Manila as Rico’s is now in the Metro! One of the newest branches of Rico’s is in Glorietta Complex, Makati, in case you’re craving for roasted pig and its crispy skin. Well, there’s more than that crispy skin and juicy meat. According to Rico’sLechon.com, there are 13 different types of lechon. Interesting, huh? It varies from flavor, serving size, and other cooking varieties. Anyway, going back, is Rico’s in Manila worth the…

Taste the Sweetness of Christmas at Manila Marriott Hotel
Christmas, they say, is the happiest season of the year – concerts, parties, gift-giving, and of course, tons of food ready to fill your tummies. Another great thing about Christmas is you can feel it everywhere, not just at home, but in malls, plazas, parks, and hotels. With a live choir singing the sweetest Christmas songs, I got to enjoy one night of Christmas fun at Manila Marriott Hotel. This family-friendly event made the people feel the Christmas presence along with Joel Cruz and family and of course, Santa! The star of the night was 20-foot Christmas tree at the hotel lobby, and a life-size ginger bread festive train that carries sweet treats. Guests also enjoyed…
