Week 26: Go do this thing

Again, I would like to thank everyone who’s “buying” my blog. (Naks parang sponsors.) I promise my blog isn’t made in China (lol), my stories here are all true. (Hello, Chinese friends, no offense, expressions lang.) It’s very heart-warming hearing or reading your messages and cheers. I can’t promise I can continue making you proud, but promise I will stay true. I also know some are saying “bat pa kasi napaka big deal nito?” or “luh, napaka bitter naman nito.” “luh, parang bata.” Yes, bitter na kung bitter. And yes, this is a big deal. As I told someone, this is more than a heartbreak. And I’m not Kylie Jenner…

Sometimes, it takes balls to be a woman

Updated 10 May 2020.I’m a mom for two years now, and I know my life challenges are just a teenie tiny part of what other women are experiencing. To those moms who choose to stay brave and strong, I am very proud of you. And to all moms who worry to much, please know that there is at least one person who’s looking forward to your success as a mother and please do not disappoint that kid. It takes balls to be a woman, so yeah, let’s all be proud of our balls! HAHA! Happy Mothers’ Day to us, and to all single Dads wearing a mom’s hat! <3 This…

    How to be happy

Just some more notes from myself to the people who find it hard to be a little bit more happy: Do not overdo things or stress about one thing. Yea, I know. Stressing about one little (or big) thing is in our nature already, but at least try not to overdo it that you cannot drive your mood anymore. Mood swings sucks. And it can affect not only you but the people you love. One thing that can help you do this is avoiding thinking negative thoughts and avoiding negative people. I was in my early 20s when I learned to filter the people around me. Dumping fake friends is not an easy task, but if you’re focused on self-care, it’s really easy…

    A little trek while pregnant

I really am jealous how fit Isabelle Daza is, and how she makes pregnancy + working out look easy. When I was in my first and second trimester, I already feel a little bit off and walang gana. So whenever I see Belle’s IG stories, I wish I had the same courage and strength and endurance she has. What I am proud of, when it comes to being physically active during pregnancy is my little trek to Treasure Mountain. Haha! Weak, I know. Well, at least I did it. It is a little place for the people who can’t really hike tall mountains or can’t do a loooong trek to…

    Week 23: What I learned

The past week was not-so-good for me and Toyo. Well, not okay especially for me. One of those hell weeks, really. Now, I;m on my 23rd week of pregnancy, and I;m not super happy. I just uninstalled all my social media apps from my phone supposedly to avoid stress from those stupid fake news and articles. I loved reading, don’t expect me to just scroll up and down the timeline without reading anything posted on it plus the comments. Yeah, my bad. So I decided to ditch those apps also to limit myself on using phone during pregnancy. They say it’s actually not that bad, but better to limit yourself from it.…
