Cresta de Gallo: the best beach in Romblon!
The Philippines is a well-known home to wonderful views of mountain tops and beautiful islands and beaches. That’s basically one of the reasons why I want to travel my country first before going outside. Pinas is such a beautiful place, and I haven’t seen even half of it yet. Good thing this year’s summer trip, I got to explore another interesting province of PH – Romblon. And guess what – I finally got to swim the waters of Cresta de Gallo as well! New here? Read this! Hey there! My name’s May and you can view more about me here. I travel a lot for both work and leisure. Thanks to…

Luljetta’s Hanging Garden & Spa: a quick escape from the city life
Why do I always, always feel exhausted? Especially now that it’s almost 2020, I’m starting to feel super tired of 2019. (2020 me: “LOL wait ’til 2020 ends”) I mean, can you finally end already? I took a moment and reflect on why I feel this way and how to help myself feel better again. Then a friend asked me if I could join them in a quick tour and spa experience at Luljetta’s Hanging Garden and Spa, and even I wasn’t feeling very well that day and that I just came from on out-of-town “raket“, but I said yes. Who says no to a getaway? Please do not travel…

#ProjectTutongSaRomblon: Romblon Island experience and travel guide (Day 1 of 3)
Let’s admit it, Romblon isn’t usually on the top destinations when you check our travel bucket lists. Sadly, people want to go to different places first because “there is nothing to see in Romblon except if you want to hoard marble stuff”. Well, you’re missing a lot of things, dear. Before summer ended, I and my gorgeous friends (ok) had a quick 3-day trip, which took us months to plan. Basically because we needed to meet up and finalize the itinerary face-to-face, else we knew it’d be one of our beautiful “drawing” we’re keeping in frames. “Quick” because we tried hopping among the three main islands of Romblon in three…

Cotivas Island, Caramoan
The past couple of years I’ve been into the waters more than I ever thought I would. I hopped among different islands in the Philippines and just recently I got to sail around Caramoan (again, this year) and as expected, the trip has been very nice and it was fun and indeed a reminder that beyond all the national issues and whatnots, Philippines is still a beautiful place and Filipinos are still beautiful people. I travel a lot, and one of my biggest problems is I quickly get sunburns even along my ride to somewhere. But you know what, I finally found my skincare routine best for after-summer vacays. Here’s…

5 things I loved about the eerie castle in Lemery, Batangas
Imagine yourself dressed as a prince and you’re roaming around your very own castle surrounded by mighty knights. As you walk to your maze-like garden, you see beautiful flowers and magical creatures along the way, greeting you good morning. And as the clear and peaceful sky welcomes another magical day of life, you stumbled upon a cute little winged dragon excited to give you a ride to explore your kingdom. Except your home is an abandoned castle on top of the mountains, where all the eerie stories we hear came from. I won’t bore you with the stories of what happened to Fantasy World or who owns it or even…
