Gerry’s Grill Favorites

Finally had the time to go out with my family for dinner! It’s not that I don’t want having dinner at home, but I just needed some time outside the house just to unwind and at least see places I don’t usually see everyday.

Lol. Yea, we just went out to the mall as we always do. It just felt a little better now because we’re welcoming a new kitten to the family..

Gerry’s Frill is one of the most common go-to places especially for groups or families – hindi lang masarap, affordable pa. So yep, I am not blogging about because this is my first time (it’s actually my, idk, 100,000,000th??) but to share our favorites in case you’re doubting trying another set of Filipino dishes (and also bec I need to update my blog sometimes, y’know).

  • Crispy Pata – not exactly my favorite, but my sisters’ favorite. well, who doesn’t love crispy pata? For my foreign readers, crispy pata is a deep-fried pig trotters or knuckles usually served in a celebration or for just a simple dinner. It’s absolutely yummy, but not-so healthy. Yea, we Fiipinos are lovers of fat.
  • Grilled squid – one of my favorites wherever we eat. IDK why I’m explaining each dish but whatevs.
  • Laing – I love laing better when it’s spicy. For my foreign readers, laing consists of taro leaves cooked with coconut milk. It’s kinda weird when we explain it in English but it’s honestly yummy.
  • Seafood rice – You’ll love this, promise.

It’s actually our thing trying out new restaurants but when we’re already hungry, we prefer pigging out in one of our fave restos at least.

Visit their website Gerry’s Grill for more info and mouthwatering menu. Gutom na ko BRB.
