    2019: Learning to be happy

I have a fair share of Facebook ‘memories’ that bring back feelings – yep, it’s not just you that makes the hugot! Last year’s “year in-review” appeared in my ‘memories’ page last week (because I love viewing it, tbh) which prompted me to re-read my 2018 wrap-up article on the blog. And to be honest, didn’t just “bring back all the memories” (and feelings) but it also inspired me to do it again and look back at my past year to reflect on everything that happened in my very boring yet interesting life. Okay, I broke a promise of giving gifts to people around me for Christmas mainly because I…

A Birthday Blog Post: 27 things I learned before turning 27

Okay. So I needed a maaaaajor revamp from the post I published a month ago. I just realized the items I posted earlier was too shallow and kind of just repeating themselves. One lesson learned: it’s not that easy to build an article and it sometimes takes time – often days – to complete a full write-up. I wrote and published things here not just for self-reflection; I also wanted to connect with you, guys. So yep, here it is – again -, my list of 27 kinda-cliche life lessons. One month ago, I turned 27. And this article was supposed to be published on that exact day. But I…

Because I am a mom, too.

Happy Mothers’ Day to all of you, moms! I hope you got breakfast in bed this morning had a very relaxing spa day, shopped like crazy, and finally had dinner with your family while everyone was treating you like a queen! Ha! Daydreams! I know this kind of perfect day isn’t gonna happen. I know behind all these celebrations, you still had to stretch your arms and work on the dishes to serve, then washed them after everyone got full. I know behind all these surprises, you quietly cried realizing that you went out because you just didn’t have enough time at home as everyone always leave for work or…

    On keeping secrets

Some may say I am oversharing life stuff on Facebook, Instagram, and even here on the blog by posting lots of photos, sharing private stories, etc. I think so, too. Sometimes, due to my anger, happiness, pain, excitement, I tend to grab my phone the second I feel it and post anything that’s in my mind. But newsflash: if you think you already know my life, then think again. There still are things I filter (not just selfies) before I publish them. Nope, they’re not fake, I just put a little “tint” on it to cover my private life. And yes, it is possible. For example, this little notebook on…
