10 beautiful Airbnbs near Manila to book for your year-end and other celebrations
The past year I only traveled with groups – friends, co-workers, family – and to be honest, except from food and transpo, another thing that takes more money away is the accommodation cost. Hotels are very nice, and could be the best option sometimes, but let’s face it – we cannot always afford hotel rooms good for 4-15 pax every time we go out of town. One time, my friends and I were looking for a place to stay for a small get together. The problem was hotel rooms usually occupies only 2 persons and you have to pay for additional heads if you’re more than 2. Family rooms are…

Chill day: Aozora at the Farm, Tagaytay
Yay, Tagaytay! Finally, after how many months, I got to go out of town again even though it was just nearby. I missed Tagaytay, to be honest. The breeze, the coffee, the chill, slow days. But I just had one night so I made the most out of it (kinda but it’s still bitin!). We attended a wedding ceremony until dinner so we thought staying overnight was better than driving back to Manila late at night. It was really good to find a nice and cozy accommodation for a night stay plus I enjoyed their free breakfast. Thank you, Aozora at the Farm! Ah, writing about this makes me want…

Bodhi Library and Cafe in La Bella, Tagaytay
I saved a lot this ECQ as travel was banned for months. Okay, not a LOT lot, but enough to finally get to start paying for our new fam home. I was thinking of naming it, tbh. But maybe when it’s already ready for turn-over. For now, thanks that we finally have somewhere else to go to while in GCQ. And fortunately, one of those places that have opened to the public again was Tagaytay. And yes, I went there and finally visited the Bodhi Libray and Cafe. This is not really a “hidden” gem anymore as it’s already taken a slot in the trendiest cafes near Manila in almost…

Coffee Project Crosswinds Photodump!
Coffee Project has been one of my favorite coffee place not just for it’s coffee but they also have super yummy sweets and pastries as well. Plus, we can’t deny each branch is sooo pretty you can’t help but take a picture in every visit! In this post, I’ll be sharing some of the photos I’ve taken during our quick visit at Crosswinds. I’m not talking too much about the food (at least not here) because we already know they’re perfect! I’d just want to make an appreciation post how beautiful this coffee house is. This Coffee Project branch is located just right at the corner of Crosswinds, Calamba Road, Tagaytay City,…

Traveling around Philippines through Siglo Modern Filipino
One of the things I super love about Tagaytay is this wide options on where and what to eat. And as we age, the food and restaurant industry is becoming more and more creative – colorful stores, unique dishes, and more. Yet there also are some that stay with the classic and our forever favorites – Just like Siglo Modern Filipino. Whenever my family and I go on a trip, as much as possible, we try restaurants that are unfamiliar to us. I know Siglo has been sitting there for years now and I’ve been hearing a lot about it but it was just now that I finally get to…
