    On keeping secrets

Some may say I am oversharing life stuff on Facebook, Instagram, and even here on the blog by posting lots of photos, sharing private stories, etc. I think so, too. Sometimes, due to my anger, happiness, pain, excitement, I tend to grab my phone the second I feel it and post anything that’s in my mind. But newsflash: if you think you already know my life, then think again. There still are things I filter (not just selfies) before I publish them. Nope, they’re not fake, I just put a little “tint” on it to cover my private life. And yes, it is possible. For example, this little notebook on…

May Day: We find what we look for

Looking back before 2018 ends *heart emoji*

It’s already Christmas! I know we are not certain all bout Jesus’ birthdate, but most of us are celebrating life, joy, and love in Jesus’ name. ‘Tis the season for forgiveness and making peace, showering love, and gift giving. And speaking of gifts, this is the first time I gave little gifts to the people in the office who were always there for us, making us safe and comfortable. It may be a little thing, but really, it is a big tick to my bucket list – to give back at least in simple ways. Thank God for the continuous blessings that I am more than willing to share! By…

May Day: My “when it rains, it pours” moment + some things worth sharing

Just recently, I had the most depressing moments yet in my life. I knew things like these are coming, but it really feels different when bad stuff are already in front of your face, laughing. There was no single day that I didn’t cry because I felt that was the only thing I could do. This time, I didn’t cry on anyone’s shoulders, I didn’t rant on Facebook, I didn’t tell the story and more info on my blog. I knew people would say “eto nanaman may drama nanaman sa buhay ang loka”. I knew people are already tired of all my sad stories so I really tried to keep it…

So how’s the new mom? + some things worth sharing

My daughter just turned three months last week but I actually thought it was at least six months already. With my new alarm clock, I can barely sleep plus new roles in my job plus tool transitions and configurations, plus one new group of bloggers I just joined plus I recently just had an accident and my left knee was badly affected plus my mom got sick. So yea, basically, my days and weeks became longer. So if you are to ask how I manage my time: I cry for like 24 hours a day. I honestly hate it when people say “take a nap while your baby’s sleeping”. Newsflash: when I’m at…

Getting my journaling mojo back + some realizations

It’s been more than just a month since I last updated my personal analog journal and I thought I already lost the mojo for it and for art, in general. Aside from not having enough time, I also needed to stay away from life’s drama and try to survive. Haha! Good thing is we just got our new printer and I’ve been on the printing spree already for weeks now collecting print-outs for the journal. It’s fun though, and God bless the internet for giving us unlimited printables and tips on just making yourself busy journaling. Some people ask, what’s in journaling that makes it so important that it takes…
