Favorite things to do in Makati City
I live in Pasay (at least as of the day I drafted this article), one of the biggest cities in Metro Manila. This pandemic is too much of a hassle for everyone, and we have been coping with it individually in many different ways. I am a travel person, and it’s difficult for me not to go for at least one short trip a month. So when things got a little bit better, I try to sneak out from home for whatever reason and go to the nearest and I feel the safest place I could go to. One of them is the nearby city of Makati, and to share…

Cravings satisfied! Thanks to Pares Point The Original!
I know it’s too risky to go and eat out, but we have these errands we need to run and good food is still everywhere, so yeah. One thing to put in mind though is to practice all the safety protocols with or without anyone looking at you or even with or without these safety measures put in place where you’re headed specially those that we already expect to be a little more “crowded” than the other restaurants in the city. Like Pares Point in Makati. Pares Point The Original is basically a joint where you can have probably one of the best pares in Manila. Unlike other diners, Pares Point is…

A day at the Art Fair Philippines 2020
This year is Art Fair Philippines’ 8th birthday and it didn’t disappoint all the art lovers and enthusiasts who participated the event including myself! I’m wondering if what I hear is true, that this year’s fair was the most interactive and interesting by far. To be honest, this is my first time attending the fair, and it’s now one of the “sayang” moments when I decided to skip the past seven years of it. Art Fair Philippines is held at The Link in Makati, showcasing arts from different culture in every piece of each exhibition. Each piece has it’s own unique way on expressing emotions and interpreting thoughts. So interesting!…

Hakata Ton-Ichi: my newest go-to ramen place in Makati
When I have Ramen cravings I realized it’s good thing there is a ramen place just on the second floor of our office building. This is not your usual 300-400-peso ramen, but this is classic bowl of super yummy ramen that sells for only P180*! Tipid mode, diba? Perfect for a comfort food right after a loooong tiring day. I’d probably fall in love with ramen, thanks to Hakata Ton-Ichi. I’ve tried a lot of versions of ramen already, and to be honest, I’m not really sure yet which is the best. Okay, I know you have a specific ramen house in mind, but I just think they’re all good…

5 of the best dishes you shouldn’t miss when dining in Dean & DeLuca
What I love about Dean & DeLuca is that they offer healthy and organic dishes such as salads, pastas, sandwiches and pastries so unique that people will definitely come again and get more. Dean & DeLuca put the utmost pride and dedication into the quality and taste of their food, wherever they go. One thing I love doing is trying out restaurants -even familiar brands- and (subconsciously) compare their dishes to other branch of the same brand, if that makes sense. Mostly, one big difference would be the service and ambiance, but most importantly, the quality of their food is what makes people come and dine again. Another thing I…
