Getting ready for the 81st: Noch ein Bier, bitte! (Another beer, please!)
Partnered with Solaire Resort and Casino, German Club Manila hosted another epic Oktoberfest on it’s 80th year celebrating German culture last year, featuring an endless stretch of the great food, entertainment, and their most-loved beers. Now you’re asking, was there anything more than drinking? Or course, there was a loooot of eating as well. What makes Savoy Hotel Manila different from other hotels is it gives us more “good vibes” and colorful moods even when we are just in the lounge, trying to compose a very critical mail for the boss. I mean, you can always work in any hotel, yes, but Savoy offers a few more interesting facilities that would make you…

Sofitel’s Sunset Bar + our first birthday duo
In the past year, since I hosted our own baby shower, I busied myself planning for Mnemo’s first birthday party. I researched about how to handle kids during a party, what food and drinks should I order, what is the best venue to do what activities, and looked for ideas on cute but useful give away for the kids. I even had a private Pinterest board on that! Mnemo’s birthday is on April and was during the holy week this year. It is also a day before the patron festival in our province, so I guess we will mostly be celebrating her birthday in Bicol for the coming years. Last…

Crustasia Seafood Market: 9 dishes to try right now
Have you already traveled around Asia? If yes, I’m definitely sure you’re very picky when it comes to “Asian-inspired” food chains in Manila, and are very (if not little) specific with the authenticity of their taste. Well, if you’re not yet familiar with other dishes around Asia, we can only recommend the bestest restaurants and one of them – I’m super duper excited to share – is Crustasia Seafood Market. What makes Asian cuisine very special is the wide variety of rich flavors — savory, spicy, sweet, etc. Food, unlike in other regions, is a must-try when visiting Asian markets and tourist spots. So it’s no big news that Asians…
