Snack Attack: Cassalu
Remember the Cassalu Coffee & Kitchen? They have an express stall, in case you missed. We wanted to try their famous cheesecakes and coffee but we opted for some lunch meals because we were soooo tired from window shopping. Lol. We often do our groceries in Makati and Glorietta’s Food Choices (foodcourt) is one of our go-tos when we feel hungry. We actually plan to try all stalls as they have newly revamped the area pre-pandemic. I got a Beef and Kimchi Rice, and it was served with egg and red iced tea. Perf for tipid meals as we need to tighten our pockets these days. Hehe. It’s a safe choice,…

Cravings satisfied! Thanks to Pares Point The Original!
I know it’s too risky to go and eat out, but we have these errands we need to run and good food is still everywhere, so yeah. One thing to put in mind though is to practice all the safety protocols with or without anyone looking at you or even with or without these safety measures put in place where you’re headed specially those that we already expect to be a little more “crowded” than the other restaurants in the city. Like Pares Point in Makati. Pares Point The Original is basically a joint where you can have probably one of the best pares in Manila. Unlike other diners, Pares Point is…

Family Valentine Dinner at Neil’s Kitchen, Glorietta
I’ve read sooo many good reviews about this restaurant in Alabang. Good food, good ambiance, perfect for all kinds of dinner dates with our loved ones. However, it’s too far from our place (probably will cost me 700php+ per Grab trip) so I wasn’t able to visit the restaurant with my family. So I was super excited when I learned they’re opening a branch in Glorietta, Makati, where I and my family usually go when we’re bored at home. I mean yey andito na yung sinasabi nilang masarap! Plus my sister really loved the food there and in fact suggested it for our next family food trip. Sitting just beside…

Enjoy affordable Japanese eats at Kaito Japanese Carinderia in Makati
I looooove Japanese cuisine, though I haven’t been to Japan yet (omg, I just realized I have to go there soon). But I know I’m having an authentic Japanese dish when Japanese friends invite me to a Japanese restaurant. I’m not sure about you, but I noticed Japanese people are a bit picky on what they eat and are very sensitive on different spices we commonly use for our Pinoy meals. So I am really a fan of those who can pull off a full-menu fusion of not just dishes but flavors from different cuisines and cultural taste. Most of the good (and even best) Japanese restaurants in the Philippines…

Forever FavorEATS: 9 creative MESA dishes we love
Filipinos are admittedly “foodies” in nature. We love cooking, we love trying out unusual dishes, we eat out and get inspirations from different foreign cuisines we love. In fact, people from around the world are starting to fall in love with our Pinoy food favorites as well. How cool is that? Since the market of the food industry is growing fast, it really is fortunate that we Filipinos don’t just love eating, but we are also passionate about leveling up our Pinoy cooking resulting in many innovative dishes offering world-class flavors and quality. Just notice those Pinoy restaurants that are operating for decades already and still attracting new customers while…
