Review: Baby Company Air Diffuser and Blue Water Fragrant Essential Oil
Hey, guys! My little angel is turning two months on Monday and I have never been more excited (so far)!!! I am just so happy my baby turned out great, as if she’s not born premature. And aside from those chubby cheeks, arms, and legs, my new favorite (after the feeling of her kicking inside my belly) is that tickling feeling of breastfeeding her. Like OMG, do I have some snail or the most awkward janitor fish attached on my boob? Sudden mood swings after giving birth honestly is the least of my favorites. I mean, who loves mood swings? This affects every part of our every days from habits, hobbies, and even relationships. Kudos to the husbands who handle their wives very well.…

Oh, hi!
Hi! No, this isn’t May. That’s my mom. I am Mnemosyne Rae Vargas Placides, the one who my mom calls Toyo/Toyang/Mnemo/Neg Neg. This is my first guest post on my mom’s blog since I don’t have my own blog yet. Since it’s my 2-month birthday, let me just share a teenie-weenie bit about my tiny self. Let’s first talk about my names, beacuse I want to. Haha! Yeah, names. I was named (by my mom) after the Greek Goddess of Memory, Mnemosyne. Oh and the M and R from my mom’s and dad’s names. They started calling me Toyo when I was still chilling in my mom’s tummy. I remember…

To all single moms, happy Fathers’ day!
I get it. It’s tough being a mom and a dad at the same time. I’m with you. Today is my first Father’s day being a single mom. To be honest, I feel sad everytime I feel alone at this. I know I have my family and friends, but having a partner is still different. A partner is someone you can lean on, a source of your courage, one of the reasons why you’re still getting up mainly because he’s a man and he’s lazy for house chores so you have no choice but do it anyway. A partner is some that is just there when you need him. Someone…

Review: Philips Avent Breast Pump and Storage
For the remaining weeks of my maternity leave, I know I have to start preparing for breast milk storage already. I am still having second thoughts on using storage bags, though. I read an article of its pros and cons, so I think for now I will have to stick with storage bottles first before considering bag brands. Speaking of brands, for Toyang’s milk collection and storage, I currently use Philips Avent. Though it’s very expensive, it is almost always the top choice for newborns so as a first time mom, I feel like I have to invest on the best brand (fyi, I’m not always this brand conscious) for…
