Looking back before 2018 ends *heart emoji*
It’s already Christmas! I know we are not certain all bout Jesus’ birthdate, but most of us are celebrating life, joy, and love in Jesus’ name. ‘Tis the season for forgiveness and making peace, showering love, and gift giving. And speaking of gifts, this is the first time I gave little gifts to the people in the office who were always there for us, making us safe and comfortable. It may be a little thing, but really, it is a big tick to my bucket list – to give back at least in simple ways. Thank God for the continuous blessings that I am more than willing to share! By…

Life with a one-month old
It’s been one month since my belly was sliced, (haha!) and that part is still a little numb. I read an article about the “feelings” after undergoing C-Section, and I’m honestly relieved the weird feeling is normal for a month or two (actually depends). I just posted this late, but today, Mneme’s officially one month old. It’s really thrilling and exciting, but to be honest, I’m scared she’ll grow up so fast. I admit, when people used to tell me “they grow up so fast”, I never believed them. Now, I could not agree more, I cannot believe I already have a one-month old little human! My mom and our story
My mom married my dad the same age as mine today. She then came along with my father, went out of their town to try their luck in Manila. My dad, a very courageous man, tried different jobs while my mom got pregnant with their first, child. Until they got another job, together, from a generous family. My dad served as the residence’s security guard (as their boss was somehow connected to politics), and my mom as cook (well, yeah she cooks very well). They served there for years. They had two-three more children (including me). And til I was six, my parents decided to quit their jobs, and have…

We are breastfeeding! (Sharing some tips + benefits of breastfeeding)
Hello, readers! It feels nice receiving messages telling me that my preggy and mom blog series are somehow helpful especially to those that can actually relate – young moms, single parents, those who are expecting, and even those who are not yet there but are uhmm… interested…. in reading. Well, a big thanks to everyone. Sana hindi kayo magsawa kahit na minsan walang tulong yung mga sinusulat ko. Hehe. Today, I’m sharing some of the things I learned about breastfeeding. We’ll not have a deep dive on each of the sub topics, but I’ll try to have specific, more focused article about each one. Yesterday, I met with my old friend. She’s also…

Cute without the E
One of the things women sacrifice for their pregnancy is her body. Once you embrace the life growing inside of you, you let go of the slim, flawless body you have. Fine, they say you’ll get it back. But it’s never certain. It’s never the same. Today was the first time I saw my incision. Yes. Two weeks I never dared to look or even touch it, even when it still had that something covering it. I was afraid I’ll feel the pain when I see it. Whenever I took a bath, I just let the liquid soap and the water flow pass it and let my sister clean the…
